Hallie + Jon // Engagement Session

Hallie first contacted me to set up a couple's session back in November with her and her boyfriend, Jon, but by the time her appointment came, Jon had proposed and their couple's session had turned into an engagement session. I was so excited because I love to shoot engagements!

Hallie + Jon first met when her sister and his nephew set them up to go out one night three years ago. That's just when it started. On December 12th. 2015, Jon took Hallie on the sweetest date to a Brazilian steakhouse, and after, they went to a movie and rode in a carriage. Hallie said, "it was the sweetest thing ever," and that she, "had a blast that night." When they got home, Jon tapped on her shoulder, and when she turned around, he was on one knee asking her to marry him. Of course, she said YES. They are hoping to be married on February 14th, 2016!

For their photos, we decided to do an urban session in Scottsboro, Alabama around the historic courthouse square. I love the old buildings in the area.

These two were super sweet and genuine to each other through the entire session. You can absolutely tell that they were meant for one another.

Engagement sessions always call for a little (spontaneous?) dancing.

These two are incredible together. Congratulations Hallie + Jon!

Do you believe in soulmates? I do. I like the concept that there is somebody who is supposed to be with you forever.
